Wood powder coating

Why we use wood powder coating on our beds.
Pro's :
Using Wood a powder coating procedure significantly strengthens the painted surface of any product. Its easier to clean and when dampened it will no warp the surface or bubble the paint. The surface finish of any wood product is substantially cleaner, and aesthetically more pleasing, when applying a wood powder coated finish to the wood product. The paint lays smoother and does not have areas where over painting can accumulate. It eliminates the need to use edging for a finished product. Hence, it saves a great deal of finances, as cutting a cycle time to manufacturing procedure is essentially eliminated and additional products for edging are irrelevant, such as tools, labor and materials. Finally, the excess paint that is not used when the wood product is powder coated, in other words the paint that falls to the ground as over spray, can be regathered and recycled into the painting procedure continually. This gives the wood powder coating procedure a "green" status as it is recyclable material. Con's: The equipment necessary for this wood powder coating operation is expensive. Not too many manufactures are equiped to apply this finish in the USA. You are relegated to use only MDF material for this procedure as it is the only material that can withstand the high heat requiments. |
